So it’s been about two months since I started the hanging garden. I have got some beautiful tomatoes and jalapeños. I am a little disappointed because the tomatoes are not doing anywhere near as well as those that I have planted in the ground, where I am overloaded with fruit.
There are hundreds of varieties of tomatoes, so some may do better hanging upside-down than others… Don’t know if you like small tomatoes, but a cherry type may do very well. Something like Sweet 100. Am early bearing determinate type may also be better than indeterminate. You didn’t state what kind you have hanging.
Not exactly sure what I planted. I am a little impulsive and imprecise at times. I just enjoy the experiment. Next time I will record what types of plants I use.
